Walkers in shadows~ Introduction

On a dark and windy night not a soul dare take a step outside in fear of the things hidden in the darkness. In the recent weeks the citizens have grown to fear the night with the sudden disappearances that did not discriminate status, age, gender, race, and above all anyone that dare to step outside after about 10 at night. During that time until the morning of six in the morning were the streets safe to tread upon. Due to such countermeasures no one person can walk outside or even venture out without escort of the police or special ops that was established to protect the citizens. All the states decided to meld into a single nation in order to band together as the mass disappearances suddenly sprouted everywhere in the nation. There were cases where with the escort of special ops agents citizens would be able to go after dark but only for a small period of time, to get this a special permission was filed.

In the day for many who in the past did not take advantage of it now do, as it's the only time that is safe. The fears and worries were now real with no witnesses left behind and tracks of those missing were never found. Not even the FBI could tail them, as the FBI was then changed to regulate the amount of people who could go outside and when. As the regulations helped diminish the amount of disappearances it agitated many of the citizens who hid inside their homes until their time to venture out. Without knowing that the real threat was only beginning, it was becoming the era for their rise, or was it?
